Huntley & Wall Counselling Practice
Welcome to Huntley & Wall Counselling practice, offering private therapy for individuals in London and online.
Whether you are navigating the complexities of personal challenges, facing difficulties in your relationships, or simply yearning for greater emotional clarity, you don't have to carry that weight alone.
Makeda Wall is a BACP accredited counsellor and a UKCP trainee psychotherapeutic counsellor. Her private practice is based in London Bridge.

Therapy
I'm a qualified Psychosynthesis counsellor and accredited member of the BACP. My counselling approach is integrative, transpersonal and interpersonal psychotherapeutic thought, which means I use a range of therapeutic methods while also exploring the deeper aspects of who you are, your values, relationships, beliefs, life purpose, and inner strengths.
I offer a supportive, warm and safe environment, where you feel empowered and open to explore and integrate all aspects of yourself. My approach is rooted in empathy and non-judgment, aiming to understand your unique perspective and experiences.
Throughout your counselling journey we will work together to facilitate your growth, healing, and personal development.
My aim isn’t just to help you manage symptoms, but to support you in reconnecting with yourself in a more authentic way. Together, we’ll work towards greater self-awareness so you can move forward with confidence and clarity.
My role isn’t to offer advice or quick fixes, but to support and guide you as you gain clarity and stronger connection to your own inner resources.
Together, we’ll create a safe and understanding space where you can discover what truly matters to you and move forward at your own pace.
My Approach
My work is deeply collaborative and relational, which means the quality of our therapeutic relationship is key to this process. I believe that what unfolds between us in our sessions is of great significance. At times, I will gently share my experience of you, which can help shed light on everyday patterns and behaviours. This approach is designed to support you in becoming more aware of your impact, how you move through the world, and the meaning you’ve made from your experiences.
Alongside this relational focus, I also draw on the body’s natural ability to reveal emotions and experiences that may sit outside of your conscious awareness. These sensations can be linked to past trauma, unspoken feelings, or the early stirrings of new insights. By tuning into the felt sense, the body’s subtle, internal signals, we can gently bring attention to what has been held beneath the surface.
This somatic approach supports the softening of long-standing tension, helps emotions to move and be processed, and allows you to listen more deeply to the body’s own wisdom. Working in this way can foster meaningful healing, greater clarity, and a more grounded connection with yourself.
